Part 1 of the 4 part mini Space Opera that title tracks this album. Where he wakes up, but is still trapped in the black confines of his mind.

The full story involves a generation-ship colonization mission, a man who volunteered specifically to run away from the trauma, grief, guilt, and pain on Earth, a malfunction of the extended hibernation system, a subsequent decades-long descent into the tortured and broken black void of his own inner consciousness, eventually leading to madness, which eventually gives way to breaking through the quantum limitations of normal human consciousness and becoming one with the panpsychic meta-conscious energy that is forms the fifth fundamental unifying force. He can now control all aspects time, space, and matter as if he were a God. In fact, by all measures that you and I can conceive, he is.
Bad news is that by this time he's become a gibbering psychopathic lunatic with a huge murderous beef against all humanity. Sounds fun, eh?
