My own version of a traditional Blues "Murder Ballad," that incorporates a traditional refrain; "Run, Sinner, Run". That's pretty much it, just wanted to write a really heavy fuzzed-out blues song that was rooted in the themes and styles of early Delta & HIll Country Blues.

lyrics
A black house sits empty, down at the end of the road.
A black house sits empty, down at the end of the road.
I can’t stop from runnin’, but I can never go back home.
Got that Southbound Voodoo, black mark upon my soul.
This sinner is runnin’, till judgment day, I’m all alone
This sinner is runnin’, till judgment day, I’m all alone
A cold, cold moon is shinnin’, down on my lonely road.
Got that Southbound Voodoo, black mark upon my soul.
Run, sinner, run – you best hide your face
Run, sinner, run – hear the preacher say
Run, sinner, run – get on your knees and pray
Run, sinner, run – you want to clear your name
Like God told Nicodemus, you must be born again.
That black house waits for me, because I killed the one I loved
That black house waits for me, because I killed the one I loved
I dug that hole and left her, 2 feet of dirt over flesh and bone
Got that Southbound Voodoo, black mark upon my soul.
